ELON – Elon women's lacrosse alumna Sammy Fisher '25 helped Team Israel earn a historic bronze medal earlier this month at the World Lacrosse Women's Championship in Tokyo, Japan. Fisher and Israel defeated the Haudenosaunee 7-4 in the bronze medal game to secure Israel's first ever medal at the tournament. With three goals in the contest, Fisher was named Player of the Match.
