Colonels Add Kent State Transfer For Upcoming Men鈥檚 Basketball Season
RICHMOND, Ky. 鈥� Omer Hamama, who played his freshman season at Kent State, will join the EKU men's basketball team for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Hamama, a 6-foot-2 guard, played in 23 games and started twice for the Golden Flashes last season. He averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 assists per game. He scored a season-high eight points against EKU on Nov. 18, hitting on 4-of-8 from the field in 13 minutes of action. Hamama dished out 10 assists against Cornell.
