Stampeders Saddened By Passing Of Alumnus Rick Galbos
The Calgary Stampeders mourn the loss of former running back Rick Galbos at the age of 75. Galbos, an Ohio native, played for Ohio State and won a co-national championship with the Buckeyes in 1970 before being drafted in 1973 by Washington of the National Football League. However, he soon signed with the Canadian Football League鈥檚 Saskatchewan Roughriders and was traded to the Stamps before his first professional season.
