NORMAN - Texas Wesleyan University's men's golf team earned national academic recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), receiving the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for its success in the classroom. The Rams were one of 11 NAIA programs recognized with the GCAA's Presidents Special Recognition after posting a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year. Texas Wesleyan was among a GCAA-record 155 programs across six collegiate divisions to earn the distinction.
