Maryland Field Hockey Opens Up 2026 Season With First Practice
COLLEGE PARK, MD - The University of Maryland Field Hockey held its first practice of the 2026 season on Friday, August 7. The Terrapins will open up 2026 competition with a home matchup against Drexel on August 28th at noon. Maryland leads Drexel 10-0 all-time with the most recent matchup occurring in 2024 at the Maryland Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex where the Terrapins won 2-0.
