The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team continued to produce action across the United States in summer leagues. Returning third-team all-MIAA performer John Connors played for the O'Fallon Hoots in the Prospect League. Connors played in 54 games, batting .365 with 55 runs scored and 44 RBI. Connors stole 13 bases and ripped four home runs. He tallied 18 multi-hit games, including four-hit efforts against the Cape Catfish (June 9) and vs. the Thrillville Thrillbillies (July 28).
