Tzouveli to Compete at World Athletics U20 Championships
NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Yale women's track and field first-year high jumper Olympia Tzouveli (Volos, Greece) will compete in the World Athletics U20 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. starting this Friday. Formerly known as the World Junior Championships, the biennial event brings together more than 1,800 of the best U20 athletes in the world, representing 147 member federations. Tzouveli brings a personal best of 1.85m, which she achieved while placing second at the Balkan U20 Championships last month.
