HIGH POINT, N.C. — High Point University women's golfer Anna Howerton won the 28th Carolinas Women's Match Play at the Pinewood Country Club on Wednesday afternoon. A local product from Winston-Salem, N.C., Howerton won six matches — including the last three going into extra holes — to prevail and secure the title.
