Men鈥檚 Basketball Stays in House, Tabs Andrew Cates for Director of Basketball Operations
STOCKTON, Calif. 鈥� Andrew Cates is staying with Pacific athletics, but returning to the hardwood as the men's basketball Director of Operations after spending a season working in the same role for the water polo teams during 2025-26. Before reaching Stockton, Cates had gained experience doing operations roles for Power Four programs Miami (FL) and Kansas after spending multiple seasons as a basketball operations coordinator at Seton Hall.
