Director of Media Relations BEAUMONT, Texas — For the fourth consecutive season, the Lamar University men's golf team earned the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced Wednesday. A record 331 schools across six divisions received the honor while 155 programs earned Presidents Special Recognition for posting a team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the 2025-26 academic year.
