NORMAN, Okla. – GW golf has been named a recipient of the 2025-26 PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Wednesday. Thanks to its 3.57 team GPA for the 2025-26 academic year, George Washington was one of just 88 Division I programs to earn President's Special Recognition for achieving a 3.5 GPA or above. A GCAA-record 331 schools across six divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award.
