Westminster University women's golf standout Ashley Lam is competing this week in the 126th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, held August 4-9 at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn. Lam earned her spot in the 156-player field as champion of the 2026 Utah Women's State Amateur, where she defeated six-time champion Kelsey Chugg 1 up in a 36-hole final at Oakridge Country Club — the first women's amateur title of Lam's career.
