Port Washington wins NY Little League title. What鈥檚 next?
The 2026 New York State Little League champions, Port Washington Little League All-Stars, are entering their first Little League World Series regional tournament this Saturday, Aug. 8, in Bristol, Connecticut. The team captured its first state title after defeating Staten Island鈥檚 Mid-Island 11-5 in the state championship in West Nyack this past weekend. Port Washington's outfielder and No. 2 pitcher Carlo Cafferata kept the five-time state champions scoreless throughout the latter half of the game.
