CHICAGO – DePaul softball has added pitcher/outfielder Leah Lowery, a Chicago native, head coach Liz Bouck-Jagielski announced Tuesday. Lowery arrives after leading Triton College's pitching staff to a 13-5 overall record in her freshman season, earning second-team all-region honors. She struck out 100 batters across 108.0 innings pitched, working regularly out of the outfield when she wasn't in the circle. At the plate, Lowery batted .327 with four home runs and 33 RBIs.
