TROY, Ala. – Rising Troy senior Lee Poppell was named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar, presented by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), the GCAA announced Monday afternoon. Student-athletes must play in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, post a stroke average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2 to be eligible for All-America Scholar status.
