PELLA— Maison Brandt (sophomore, Bryon, Ill.) of the Central College men’s golf team was named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America for the first time in his career Monday. To be eligible for selection, an NCAA Division III player must be a sophomore, junior or senior, participate in at least half of his team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
