Former Jackson State football DB Levi Wyatt, 23, dies in car accident
Former Jackson State football defensive back Levi Wyatt died on July 31. Wyatt, 23, died after being in car accident, according to Hinds County Coroner Jeremiah Howard. The accident occurred around 11:40 p.m. Howard said Wyatt's car left the roadway, overturned and hit a light pole. Wyatt died at the scene of the crash. Wyatt spent his senior season at Jackson State after transferring from McNeese State. He played in all 12 games in 2025, making 12 tackles and breaking up four passes.
