Men’s Swimming and Diving’s Mulgrew to Continue Action at US Nationals
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Men's Swimming and Diving rising sophomore William Mulgrew is set to continue action at the Toyota National Championships in Irvine, California. The Walpole native is slated to compete in the 400-meter freestyle on Friday and swim in the 800-meter freestyle on Saturday. The 2026 CSCAA Second-Team All-American became the United States 1500-meter freestyle champion when he finished with a sub-15-minute time on Tuesday night. Mulgrew completed the race in a lifetime-best 14:58.50, which was nearly 10 seconds faster than runner-up Sean Green (15:07.03).
