Kinzer Added to Cross Country, Track & Field Staff as Assistant Distance Coach
WAVERLY, Iowa — Wartburg College Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Marcus Newsom and Head Cross Country Coach Ryan Chapman have announced the hiring of former Knight standout Jack Kinzer as an assistant distance coach. Kinzer returns to his alma mater following an outstanding five-year career with the Wartburg men’s cross country and track & field programs. During his time as a Knight, he earned seven American Rivers Conference All-Academic Team selections, three U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors, and three All-American Rivers Conference accolades.
