30 WNCC athletes, 2 teams earn NJCAA academic honors
The four WNCC athletes who earned First Team All-Academic honors. Thirty Western Nebraska Community College athletes and two teams were recognized for their academic success by the NJCAA earlier this week. The two teams that received recognition included the softball team, which had a team GPA of 3.40, as well as the women’s basketball team, which finished with a 3.10 GPA for last year. Individually, 30 athletes earned NJCAA All-Academic honors, with four earning First Team honors with a 4.0 GPA.
