Hamaoui guides Team Blaze to 2026 HOOPQUEENS championship
WATERLOO, Ont. – Laurier Golden Hawks women’s basketball assistant coach Aycha Hamaoui is once again a HOOPQUEENS champion. Hamaoui led Team Blaze to the 2026 HOOPQUEENS title on Sunday, defeating Team Reign 72-53 in the championship game at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. The victory adds another milestone to Hamaoui’s successful tenure in Canada’s premier summer women’s basketball league.
