Christenson Named Head Women鈥檚 Soccer Coach at SUNY Brockport
SUNY Brockport has announced the hiring of Jessica Christenson as the new head coach of the Golden Eagles women’s soccer program, ushering in the next chapter for one of Division III’s premier teams. Christenson takes over the reins from longtime head coach Mike Idland, who recently accepted the women’s soccer head coaching position at Buffalo State after 10 highly successful seasons at Brockport. Christenson arrives in Brockport following a successful stint as an assistant coach with the University of Rochester Yellowjackets, adding Division III postseason experience and recruiting connections throughout Western New York.
