Spence Named Wilkes Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach WILKES-BARRE 鈥� Wilkes University women’s basketball head coach Al Berger has announced the hiring of Monica Spence as the team’s assistant coach. Spence joins the Colonel staff after four seasons as a coach at Lackawanna College, spending three as the head coach from 2022-2025. Under her leadership, the team made three NJCAA Region 19 playoff appearances with multiple all-conference selections.
