ATHENS, W.Va. – Concord University women's basketball head coach Tesla Southcott has announced the hiring of Abbie Smith to the program as a graduate assistant for the upcoming 2026-27 season. One of the best players to come through the women's basketball program at Concord, Smith ranks third in career points (1,911) and rebounds (1,529) while also ranking top five in program history in field-goal percentage, free-throw percentage, blocks and games played.
