Normal, Ill. – The Illinois State cross country program has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. The Redbirds will compete in four regular season meets, including one home meet, before beginning postseason competition at the MVC Championships. Illinois State will open its season in Champaign, Illinois, on Friday, September 4, to compete in the Fighting Illini Invitational at 11 a.m., hosted by the University of Illinois.
