Men鈥檚 track and field recognized for academic achievement
NEW ORLEANS — The Bates men’s track and field team was honored last Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their achievements in the classroom. The Bobcats have a team cumulative grade point average of 3.64, 16th highest in NCAA Division III, and good for All-Academic Team honors from the USTFCCCA. The minimum threshold to be named an All-Academic Team is a 3.1 GPA on a 4.0 scale. In addition, eight Bobcats were named USTFCCCA Men’s All-Academic Athletes.
