WASHINGTON (July 29, 2026) – Stats Perform uncovered its third annual HBCU+ FCS National Player of the Year Award Preseason Watch List where Howard University saw graduates defensive back Kedrick Green (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and running back Eden James (Indianapolis) among the 20 recipients. The announcement came Wednesday morning. On July 20, both Bison were named to the MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Preseason All-Conference First Team.
