LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Softball head coach Alyson Habetz has signed Candice Puig out of La Serna (Calif.) High School in Whittier, California, adding her to the roster for the 2026-27 academic year. An incoming freshman, Puig is starting her collegiate career with Louisiana beginning with the upcoming 2027 season. She has five years of eligibility available.
