Saint Joseph's Athletics mourns the passing of Chris DiJulia. A fixture on the Saint Joseph's sidelines over three decades, DiJulia was on the Hawks' women's basketball bench for many of the program's biggest moments. Invited by then-head coach Jim Foster to sit on the Saint Joseph's bench, DiJulia was a part of three Atlantic 10 championships, more than a dozen Big 5 titles and over 20 postseason appearances. Born with cerebral palsy, DiJulia was recognized for his infectious spirit in 2001-02 with the creation of the Chris DiJulia Inspirational Award by the women's basketball program.
