Men鈥檚 Basketball Signs Raivo Butirins
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball has officially announced the signing of Raivo Butirins today, bringing the Roos' roster to 14. The 6'9 forward/center hails from Lapme啪ciems, Latvia and brings experience playing with the Latvian national team. "I loved speaking with the coaching staff," Butirins said. "It is an honor to join a great team in a great city." Butirins most recently played with VEF Riga in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League, the top league in Latvia and Estonia.
