Mackley, Green and Armstrong Earn Preseason PFL Honors
Charles Mackley , Luke Green and Mason Armstrong were named to the 2026 Preseason All-Pioneer Football League Team on Tuesday afternoon. All three bulldogs return to the squad for their junior campaign. Mackley was an integral part of Butler's offensive line last season starting at guard in all 12 games. He was part of a unit that allowed only 15 sacks on the season. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich. native played in only six games in 2024 before having a breakout season in 2025 as a staple of the offensive line. Mackley also landed on Phil Steele's All-PFL First Team.
