Women’s Tennis Amasses ITA Academic Honors

GILBERT, Ariz. – For the 23rd year in a row, the MIT women’s tennis team qualified for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team award. The Engineers produced a team GPA of 3.79 while a program-record 12 student-athletes received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. To be named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements: Have a grade point average of at least a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for the current academic year Be listed on the institutional eligibility form Overall in 2026, 1,309 Division III women’s tennis student-athletes were named ITA Scholar-Athletes and 177 women’s tennis programs were…
