Davis Diamond Shines During AUSL Championship
The eyes of the softball world were on Davis Diamond this weekend as Aggieland played host to the AUSL Playoffs and Championship Series. A near-capacity crowd watched Thursday night's play-in game, then a pair of sellouts and national television audiences--including the first-ever professional softball game to be broadcast on network TV--took in the championship series on Saturday and Sunday. Congrats to the Utah Talons who claimed their second straight AUSL title with a sweep of the Chicago Bandits.
