Blue Jays prospect Tiedemann records pair of strikeouts in rehab outing
Ricky Tiedemann's return to the mound was a positive one as the Toronto Blue Jays prospect struck out two over a scoreless inning on 18 pitches. The team's No. 10 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, averaged 96.4 m.p.h. with his fastball, which topped out at 97.7 m.p.h. Sunday's outing marked Tiedemann's first live game action since his rehab was paused earlier this month. Tiedemann had his season paused back on July 2 because of a neck injury.
