ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award Winners GRINNELL, Iowa – The Grinnell College baseball team not only was successful on the field, but in the classroom as it earned the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) National Academic Excellence Award for 2026. This marks the 11th season in a row Grinnell has earned the honor. To earn the award, teams must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale during the academic year. More than 500 college programs around the nation joined coach Tim Hollibaugh’s squad in earning the award.
