WGOLF: HCU Recognized by WGCA for Highest Team GPA in NCAA
Juan DeLeon Creative 7/23/2026 12:10:00 PM Follow @HCUGolf FRISCO, Texas 鈥� The HCU women's golf team has earned the Women's Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team GPA Award with the highest team grade point average among all NCAA women's golf programs nationally for the 2025-26 academic year. The Huskies posted a cumulative GPA of 3.947, putting them just ahead of Marshall with a 3.946 for the top mark in the country. HCU sophomore Ploy Makmanee was named Southland Conference Student-Athlete of the Year in June and was one of five Huskies to earn Southland Conference All-Academic recognition.
