UNC Asheville Women鈥檚 Basketball Earns Academic Recognition from the Women鈥檚 Basketball Coaches Association
FULL WOMEN'S BASKETBALL COACHES ASSOCIATION RELEASE ATLANTA - UNC Asheville Women's Basketball has earned Special Academic Mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, announced recently by the organization. To be recognized by the WBCA, a college women's basketball program has to post a team grade point average of at least 3.0 for the academic year. This is the second year in a row under head coach Tynesha Lewis and the fifth time in program history that the Bulldogs have been recognized for their work in the classroom.
