KOKOMO, Ind. – Micah Sheffer’s outstanding summer continued on Thursday, winning the Indiana Golf Association’s (IGA) Match Play Championship, held at the Kokomo Country Club in Kokomo, Indiana. Sheffer defeated University of Evansville junior Jamison Ousley in the championship match, winning in 19 holes. Sheffer held a 1-up lead through eight holes, but lost holes 9 and 10 to fall 1-down. After halving the next seven holes, including birdies on No. 17, Sheffer birdied the par-4 18th hole to move the match into extra holes.
