MW unveils basketball bracket format
Grand Canyon's March Madness will start with 10-team tournaments at the next Mountain West Basketball Championships. The Mountain West announced the format and dates of its 2027 men's and women's basketball tournaments, with each bracket including all 10 members and awarding the top six regular-season finishers byes into each tourney's quarterfinal round. The Mountain West Basketball Championships will be staged at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas for the 21st consecutive year.
