BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––– Indiana Field Hockey coach Kayla Bashore announced the signing of Berta Saenz de Santa Maria on Friday (July 17). Saenz de Santa Maria is the ninth signee of the program's 2026 class alongside Elle Obenour , Helen Grahe, Jessie Mauro, Elise Eves, Gabriela Garayo Aranceta, Karly Redman, Agustina Gamonal and Isa Smulders. Saenz de Santa Maria will arrive in Bloomington in August. She is a midfielder from Santander, Spain and attended Esclavas del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.
