Vikings Receive Academic Honor from WBCA for Fifth Straight Season
ATLANTA 鈥� The Portland State women's basketball team should check its mentions as the Vikings received special mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for the fifth straight season as the association released its Academic Top 25 Tuesday. The WBCA Academic Top 25 honors the 25 women's basketball teams with the highest GPAs by classification (NCAA D1, NCAA D2, etc.). Outside of those 25 schools, the association also awards special mention to any program with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
