JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Former Duke men's golfer William Love captured the 120th Southern Amateur Championship by three strokes Saturday at Atlanta Athletic Club. The Atlanta native carded rounds of 65, 65 and 68 to finish the 54-hole championship at 12-under 198. Zackary Swanwick of New Zealand placed second at 9-under 201. With the victory, Love added his name to the George W. Adair Trophy and received the championship's silver medal and Calamity Jane Putter.
