KANSAS CITY, Mo. — WKU Hilltopper Basketball was selected for the 2025-26 Team Academic Excellence Award by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, the organization announced Wednesday morning. The award honors programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. WKU surpassed that mark with a 3.3 team GPA, while 13 student-athletes recorded individual GPAs of 3.0 or better. In addition to the team honor, seven Hilltoppers were named to the NABC Honors Court, which recognizes junior, senior and graduate student-athletes with cumulative GPAs of 3.2 or higher.
