OREM, Utah — Utah Valley baseball currently has eight players playing professionally this summer, with three currently playing affiliated baseball and five competing in independent leagues across the United States. Garrett Broussard earned his first All-Star nod, and Kaden Carpenter was drafted by the Texas Rangers last weekend.
