FAIRFIELD, Conn. – St. John’s men’s golfer Joseph Dolezal qualified for the U.S. Amateur Championship on Monday. The rising junior finished tied for second in final qualifying at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, Conn. Dolezal will now participate in the 126 th U.S. Amateur Championship on August 10-16 at Philadelphia Country and Merion Golf Club in Pennsylvania, the latter of which has been the host of five U.S. Open Championships.
