Five From Women鈥檚 Golf Earn WGCA All-American Scholar Accolades
MOREHEAD, Ky. — For the fourth consecutive season Morehead State women’s golf had at least four student-athletes earn one of college sport’s most prestigious academic honors, and this year it was five. A quintet of Eagles earned All-American Scholar accolades from the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. The program honors student-athletes who have maintained a 3.5 grade point average and competed in at least 50 percent of scheduled tournaments, making the WGCA likely one of the most stringent student-athlete academic awards bestowed by any coaches organization.
