Two Former Terps Named To USA World Cup Roster
COLLEGE PARK, MD. 鈥� The U.S. Field Hockey team announced its World Cup roster Saturday afternoon, with two former Maryland players earning spots for the upcoming tournament. Former five-year Terrapin Emma DeBerdine was named to the roster. The midfielder competed for Maryland from 2019-24 and compiled a decorated collegiate career. DeBerdine earned NFHCA Third-Team All-America honors three times (2019, 2022 and 2024) and was a first-team All-Big Ten selection three times (2019, 2022 and 2024).
