Five from Women鈥檚 Golf Named to WGCA All-American Scholar Team
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. 鈥� Five from the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) women’s golf team have been named to the 2025-26 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, the association announced Monday. Julia Baeumken , Elle Burnette , Kasey McIlvaine , Sophie Lauture and Chanelle Mwangi were all tabbed to the 2025-26 WGCA All-American Scholar Team. Burnette and McIlvaine have now earned the feat three times in their careers, Lauture earned the recognition for a second time and Baeumken & Mwangi received the award for the first time. 1,551 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team.
