Tre Broussard Selected in Third Round of MLB Draft
HOUSTON 鈥� Houston Baseball standout outfielder Tre Broussard was taken in the third round with the 95 th overall pick by the Cleveland Guardians to highlight day one of the MLB Draft Saturday. Broussard is Houston Baseball’s earliest draft pick since Robert Gasser was taken in the second round (71 st overall) of the 2021 MLB Draft and the program’s highest position player chosen since Jared Triolo at 72 nd overall in the 2019 Draft.
