TROY, Ala. – SMU transfer Sam Walters has signed with Troy men’s basketball, head coach Adam Howard announced Wednesday. A 6’9″ forward, Walters has spent his collegiate career at three Power Four programs, playing in 84 games while averaging 4.5 points and shooting 37.6% on 3-point attempts. “We’re excited to welcome Sam to the Troy basketball family,” Howard said. “Sam has competed at the highest level of college basketball and brings invaluable experience from programs that know what it takes to win in March.
